Academy Healing Nutrition students spend an average of five hours a week on course-related activities.
The components of our practitioner training course are as follows:
Unlike other nutritional programs, we offer live in-house training that includes practical cooking classes. This is because our course is meant to be experiential as well as academic. In addition to providing students with practical skills for preparing a wide variety of healthy dishes and home remedies, our cooking classes create a fun, hands-on forum for experiencing the healing effects of The Longevity Diet across several platforms: sensorial, emotional, intellectual, and social.
Students have access to their instructors in a live classroom setting. Classes are intimate and small in size, so that the maximum amount of personal attention can be given to each student. Individual time with instructors may also be scheduled.
Students have 24/7 access to online modules, allowing for greater convenience and flexibility. If you cannot make all of your in-house modules, you have the option of making up for them with our online modules. Students have the option of completing their entire training online, or through a combination of in-house and online modules.
Students are provided with an extensively researched, 500-page workbook along with other reference materials, which are only available to those currently enrolled at Academy Healing Nutrition.
The practitioner training course is comprised of six in-house modules to be completed over six months.
These begin in March, and are held one weekend per month from 9.30-17.00 on both days.
In-house modules are complemented by six online viewing modules to be completed on your own schedule, but generally over the course of eight months.
Graduation is held in March of the following year.
Upon completion of all course requirements, you will receive a certificate to practice as a Nutrition Coach and Longevity Diet Specialist. Graduation is contingent upon submission of all requisite assignments and case studies. We recommend that students complete their training between March and December to ensure graduation by the following March. Any in-house or online module may be repeated free of charge.
